Custom Rollforming Corp. (CRC), a manufacturer of custom rollformed products, has added a new rollforming line equipped to form heavy-gauge profiles using high-strength steels.
The new rollformer that anchors the line is a robust piece of Bradbury equipment built to withstand the rigorous demands of forming heavy-gauge profiles while still allowing increased production throughput.
The line’s stock reel has a 20,000-pound coil capacity, and the heavy-duty seven-roll straightener will flatten even the most reluctant coils. The rollformer is a Bradbury Rafted® model designed for quick changeover and increased efficiencies. This machine will accept coil widths up to 24" and has a total of 16 forming passes. The tooling is mounted on 3.00" arbors. All this, combined with the 150 horsepower output, allows CRC to form even the most demanding heavy-gauge shapes. At the exit end of this machine is a heavy-duty, oversized part straightener and an impressive 100-ton hydraulic flying cutoff press.
CRC is a subsidiary of The Bradbury Group. It’s 52,000 square-foot facility in Moundridge, KS, houses ten rollforming lines. The company’s impressive capabilities include pre-punching up to 330 tons, turn-key fabrication, and robotic welding. CRC’s customer list includes regional firms in the Midwest as well as Fortune 500 companies and major OEM’s throughout the U.S. To find additional information about CRC, page through the company website, visit www.bradburygroup.com, or call 620.345.2821.
